Some girls make cookies in an Easy Bake oven, but in this episode of KIMSA Science, I make PLASMA in a microwave oven! Plasma is a state of matter created by adding energy to a gas & scattering its electrons & ions. It's an intense experiment, so DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! -Madison
On today's KIMSA Science episode, I made Oobleck (out of corn starch & water) to conduct an experiment observing the properties of NON NEWTONIAN FLUIDS in honor of one of history's greatest scientists, Sir Isaac Newton, all while having fun & making a big gooey mess! -Madison
Today on the KIMSA Science Channel, I make FLASH POWDER in an experiment demonstrating a SINGLE DISPLACEMENT REACTION between Magnesium & Silver Nitrate. A single replacement reaction is a reaction where an element replaces another element in a compound. CHECK IT OUT! -Madison
