Hello! I’m an autistic who just got a covid vaccine in South London so here is my experience of what happened so that you might be able to prepare for the experience yourself. Caveat that all centres may vary slightly!
A big misconception is that you need to be motivated to get rolling. You don't. Research: Motivation often FOLLOWS action, not the other way around. In Practice: You don't need to feel good to get going; you need to get going to give yourself a chance at feeling good.

Every time I tweet about how quick fixes do not work I lose a bunch of followers. I'm sorry, y'all. But THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES! Work hard. Be consistent. Pay attention. Adjust when needed. Be patient. Surround yourself wisely. Rest. The battle is simply staying on the path.
