The canary in the mine was Sir Salman Rushdie. Everything since then has fed off pathetic inaction then. Inches given, miles taken.

To put it mildly, I sincerely hope that the people of Dewsbury vote this man out of office at the next election.

Thank you all who put the safety of Aston Villa fans, Birmingham residents snd the British public above the zionist and political pressure to let Israeli hooligans and terrorists run riot in our country.

Aston Villa’s Europa League match against Maccabi Tel Aviv will take place without Israeli fans in attendance — banned from Villa Park on “safety” grounds. news.sky.com/story/maccabi-… This is yet another alarming sign of how British authorities are failing to ensure that Jews can…

Yesterday was the 959th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, today is the 43rd anniversary of me, both seminal moments in English history

It still freaks my nut out to this day.

#OnThisDay in 1066 William the Conqueror won the Battle of Hastings ⚔️ With his wife Matilda of Flanders, he started a new Norman dynasty in England and ordered the building of the White Tower at the Tower of London, which remains his most imposing physical legacy. 🏰

Cape Verde at the World Cup!

Yes to this. Judging by the timeline, this is likely to be one of my least popular takes, but I don’t believe in the death penalty and I certainly don’t believe in vigilante justice, however disgusting and depraved the victim is.

When the victim is as utterly vile as Ian Watkins, it's tempting to welcome this sort of summary "justice". But at the end of the day, it's still a failure of the system, like any prison violence, and the men who carry out such acts almost always have ugly records themselves.
