My custom tape loaders now confirmed working on a real Electron, including some lost bytes due to crippled MODE 1 🤣 I had trouble connecting my laptop (playuef, audacity) to my Electron, until I bought a cheap usb audio device aka "external soundcard". Loading/saving works😎
And here's a Speccy-inspired custom tape loader for the Acorn Electron (MODE 1, one continuous data stream)

In prepping some materials for an upcoming software release, I used this new feature in C64 OS v1.08. Files that should be type SEQ, created on a Mac, copied to an SD Card, showed up as PRG. From File Manager, popped this open, changed the type, bingo bango, worked great. #C64
I just had to go with the classic blue & white art style for the automap. And, now players get to enjoy that art too! ⚔️ The Secret of Weepstone ⚔️
