Small update for my NES shooter: - Rewritten user input code from scratch - Added a cover system (hide in the shadow) - Added particle system (wip) - Background enemy test (no animation or movement yet) - No collision detection yet

I managed to fix and optimize the code quite a bit today... The gray area represents how much CPU is consumed per frame. If the entire screen turns gray, I fail at life.

Hey folks! Still talking about the intermission screens in Tiny Quest II — today I managed to animate the scroll, but only the first 5 frames. I still need to prepare the remaining ones and optimize them so they can be blasted to the screen efficiently. #c64 #commodore #retrogame
Revisiting one of my older demos for the Acorn Electron. Creatively called "MODE2 Demo". Fixed an issue that made it glitch every so often. Runs flawlessly in Electroniq (and on a real Electron of course). If someone says the Elk is slow and lacking colours, show them this 😎
