I’ve been gone quite awhile. But sometimes I just need an outlet. Being in ministry makes much of my life public. That doesn’t mean I don’t feel invisible.
Pastor’s wife can be an incredibly lonely position. I’m slowly learning to let myself be vulnerable enough to let a few people in. Praying always that the Spirit will give me discernment to know who I can trust ❤️
Thankful for time home ALONE to rest and recover. I never feel bad about taking care of myself.
Pray for your Pastor’s wife. It is probably the loneliest, most unseen, least honored position in the church. They get all the “you and your husband should do this better” and none of he “we are grateful for your work”.
I haven’t had much to say lately. Just been too busy and too tired. Someday, I’ll be back for real.
Family holidays give me serious anxiety. Do I measure up in their eyes? Am I a good enough mother? Does my career stack up?
Started a "clean" diet today. Does it count if I rinse my pack of Reese's pieces??

No church for me tonight. Little boy needed me at home with him! Being momma comes first!
Pastor's wife is commanded to love & support her husband, like all wives. Dont expect more b/c of her husband. It's ok if we say no to you!
