In the last few years, I've been reading books and meticulously taking notes on them. I'm sharing my notes for free. If you want to learn something useful, head on over: bagerbach.com/books

Codex CLI finally supports executing commands from within Codex! !gh issue view 800 Much easier to curate context while coding with Codex now.

How to mass migrate/refactor files with Claude Code: - Iterate on a prompt: do a few manual fixes with Claude, then create a custom command with the prompt (e.g. /migrate) - Do a few more manually to test it, adjust - Run Claude in a loop over the files with the custom command…

Keep thinking.

OpenAI/Anthropic/Google should really provide a way to go from a chat in ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini to their CLI agent. For example, why isn't there a `Continue in Codex CLI` button that gives me `codex --chat-id ID` which loads the conversation in the CLI?

New paper reading meta: Let your coding agent see research papers. I run Mistral’s OCR on a PDF (gets text + figures as imgs), feed both into Claude Code, and point it at my Obsidian notes. Now it can quote the paper, reason over figures, and cross-link to my notes.

If you work with GitHub daily, I highly recommend using this with gh issue view 1110 And again with the comments flag. Likewise for PRs. And you can even grab code review comments for PRs too! Massive productivity boost.

You can now run shell commands directly in the Amp CLI. (Finally!)
