This is LLM slop but worth quoting to point out the variety of implementations of “read committed” across vendors. SQL Server is cursed with locking read committed. Others use MVCC via row versioning. Be careful out there.
I got access to a Windows 2025 server. Obviously I had to check if SQL Server 4.20 from 1993 works. And, of course it does!

Per core, sold in packs of two.
If you hold alt and hit f4 a bunch of times it will speed up Windows.
