I enjoy re-playing Jumping Flash from time to time. It’s simple, cute and fun. VR could be interesting but I don’t think it would be a big hit.
"A new Jumping Flash game for PlayStation VR was in the early stages of development, but was cancelled, according to Shuhei Yoshida." videogameschronicle.com/news/a-new-jum…

Pleasantly happy with yesterday state of play for #PlayStation particularly how colorful all the games were! I know it’s been a while but the 360 desaturated gritty games were not my cup of tea and that trend lingered for way too long!
Glad to see community notes all over the new flappy bird calling them out

Oh no! Site hasn’t been near the highs of old for a long time but there hasn’t been a replacement that I’ve found. RIP
The end of an era. @anandtech, started in 1997 by a then 14-year-old @anandshimpi, is closing its doors after 27 years. I worked there for 11 years and learned my craft. Here's my video on it. It gets a little emotional. youtu.be/ud6DWmWcHaY

Awesome! This is a big usability improvement

I can confirm that the credits are restored in the Steam version of the best Final Fantasy (I don't think they were there before anyway except the console releases)

This is amazingly useful. And judging from the comments it seems no one knew.
Big news! Someone finally noticed that if you hold down CTRL, the process list in Task Manager conveniently freezes so you can select rows without them jumping around. I did this so you could sort by CPU and other dynamic columns but then still be able to click stuff...

My #GDC2023 slides are available here: (Predicted Physics Based Multiplayer in Space Engineers) PDF (9MB, without videos): drive.google.com/file/d/16zIndl… PPTX (2.5GB): docs.google.com/presentation/d… Enjoy. Let me know your thoughts!
I mean it does seem like that's where the industry is heading...
The game engine you start with doesn't matter. You can always go to Unreal later.
Wow unencrypted website urls is a huge deal. Someone else in that thread put it better but that alone is a trove of data ripe for exploits. I still think password managers are better then the alternative but this is not great news.

Asking for reading advice and then getting the actual author to chime in with some suggestions! Now I guess the only option is to read it all!
