Our new paper is out in @RNAJournal! Exciting work led by @ansellbr3 with input from @robbie_bonelli, @JacobEMunro & @trashystats (new lab head at WEHI in brain cancer bioinformatics!) and Simon Thomas. 1st time analysis of RNA editing in brain at sc level with insights for PWS.
RNA editing is essential for healthy brain function. We found >40k edited sites across 3k single neurons. Inhibitory neurons show higher editing, and snoRNA levels are linked to editing #WEHI_research bit.ly/3a7wMtx

Showed this to my 9 year old this morning and he said "almost nobody vaccinated is going to hospital" So, a nine year old brain can understand it....
Vaccines save lives. Don’t faff around. This is coming at us in a giant wave. Get vaccinated. If you’re pregnant - please get vaccinated. Who can you help access vaccines today? Data from today’s Vic press conference.
Help us spread the word! We are excited to launch our Brighter Together campaign, to share the fantastic collaborative and innovative #MedicalResearch happening at WEHI into blood cancers, COVID-19 and Parkinson's disease. More at brightertogether.wehi.edu.au
