So this week is #UnityHackWeek. My group tackled the idea "could we make Burst code run on the GPU?" e.g. write C#, then choose whether to run it on CPU or GPU. Short answer is: probably, yes*. *Hackweek project, no promises to ship it etc but likes for this tweet can't hurt 😀
My idea for #UnityHackweek 2019 was to add support of async operations to @unity3d, for instance make build / build&run / testing to run in another process, so we can use editor. Thanks to the amazing people that joined me - we did it! We really want to land this feature ASAP!
Had a great time at #unityhackweek in Denmark. We successfully implemented client prediction with rollback (GGPO) and made a fun game with deterministic Unity Physics in DOTS.

I was part of this team at #UnityHackweek 2019! It was a great experience and was brilliant to meet so many talented people in this team and others. So many other smaller project ideas have come from such a great week. Thank you everyone involved.
Big thanks for our team! You were awesome. Writing a new prototype renderer from scratch in 4 days is a huge achievement. New data model too (including asset/scene conversion from Unity). 10x+ faster draws than existing tech was just a bonus :)
