We added a new menu option under the Assets menu that checks all Labs nodes in the scene for any out of date instances. Useful for quickly checking if you're using older versions of tools! @sidefx #Houdini #sidefxlabs #tooldev #gamedev

I tested this first on a really old laptop with only 4 GB Ram. 20 variations with double sci fi panels and pipes on 10 prim. It took that old potatoe 15-20 minutes. The #ryzen93950x needed ~20 seconds #sidefxlabs #houdini

Found another cool place to deploy Labs Calculate Thickness. Because the algorithm captures protrusions very well, you can use the tool to calculate the retention attribute for PolyReduce SOP. This helps you preserve important details. #Houdini #SideFXLabs #3dmodeling #techart
