Just write; share what you know, remembering that medical knowledge and advances help people, which is its own reward. Attack does not work. It's hard to get credit for ideas or inventions unless you work for major universities or companies that will support research and patents.
Human fear, ego, greed, ignorance, and lying, especially regarding medical knowledge that people need to know, is as despicable as intellectual property theft or, conversely, the promotion of specious "cures" that cause more harm than good to people who are already suffering.
Love, forgive, and rise above the battlefield. We are one being; separation into bodies is an illusion. Literally, we are each other; we are one. What we do to others we actually do to ourselves. Love, morality, and knowledge do matter; they return us to the Source of our Being.
I have studied science, psychology, and medicine since I was five. I've known for forty years and have been writing for ten that we need endocrine support for our fatigue, muscle aches, weakness, insomnia, cardiac and brain issues - not psychiatric drugs; certainly not surgery.
Julie, as I emailed to you, you felt better after surgery due to the meds you were given in the hospital, not the surgery itself, which is not indicated for ME/CFS. It is not scientific or empirical; it's self-delusion. Please, now, stop hurting yourself further. No more surgery.
No one with ME/CFS should take psychiatric drugs such as antidepressants or antipsychotics, which do terrible damage to the brain, central nervous system, and heart; no one with ME/CFS should have surgery "for" it. Those promoting these quack "cures" are doing immeasurable harm.
I've had ME/CFS for sixty years and studied it for forty. For ten years I have been writing about treatments that do not cure but help one to cope; that warm and strengthen, let one sleep and wake up refreshed, get one out of bed to take care of oneself. @r_prior knows them, too.

As a scientist, I watch the news concerned about the same issues as always, @NIH's lack of preparedness for pandemics, Trump's false projections of lying and double dealing, and Fauci's vaccine-for-profit propaganda machine causing more death through increasing panic and fascism.
100,000 people die of medical mistakes each year. 100,000s more live with iatrogenically-created chronic illness and disability. There are illnesses for which the federal medical establishment won't admit the causes or pay disability. To Dr. Fauci I say liar, liar, pants on fire.
