Math Help: If I have a nonlinear transformation T: R^m -> R^n, what do I call the set of solutions to T(x)=0? Is it just roots or zeros? Or is there a fancier name for it?


Hear me out: Instead of multiple classes meeting 3-4X a week for 15 weeks. One class meets 3-4 hours per day (2 hour morning session + 2 hour afternoon session) for 15 days.

Friends in academia, let this serve as a reminder that a promotion without a significant raise isn’t a promotion, it’s a title change. Also, promotions come with a shift in responsibilities, not only more responsibilities. Don’t sell yourself short.
