Tbh this flavour of quant trading (cta) has likely returned more money than traders would (a) admit to (b) measure properly and realise they’re just trend following and (c) admit to.
Quants want you to believe that there's all sorts of fancy mathematics that go into their models but the FT have really pulled back the curtain here
here are my major life tips — 1. make lots of friends and see them often 2. call your mom 3. do exercise at least once/day 4. learn to cook well, have long meals and enjoy food 5. GET OUTSIDE
