PSA for all news outlets: if you self-censor and write "sh**ting" in your headline I am simply going to assume you meant "shitting" regardless of context
>not calling it big banana NGMI
You went 🍌🍌 for Nano Banana. Now, meet Nano Banana Pro. It’s SOTA for image generation + editing with more advanced world knowledge, text rendering, precision + controls. Built on Gemini 3, it’s really good at complex infographics - much like how engineers see the world:)
Amazing midwit filter (I will not elaborate on which group of people are the midwits, it should be self evident)
How do we enable single-layer PCBs to support the routing complexity of multi-layer PCBs? We're making a "Bridge-Programmable Interconnect" chip. This chip is "programmed" by traces etched on the top layer of the PCB, it allows any configurable pin to connect to any other…
I love all the attemped debunkings of this I'm seeing which somehow miss that it's a joke, excellent midwit striver filter 10/10 my mute list is eating well today
BREAKTHROUGH: I have invented a novel object notation format that provides an additional 71% token savings over JSON and 59% over TOON. I have named it VSC (Values Separated by Comma), patent pending.
I was thinking Model Oriented Array Notation would be a good name for a similar shitpost but IDK how the format itself would be differentiated. Maybe the funniest option would just be CSV again? Or perhaps TSV...
Holy shit they’ve LinkedInified my shitpost, including a medium article, and tons of ai hallucinated corpospeak, truly a cursed platform
Since he's a parody of himself it's understandable to get confused
The "science vampire" trope that always gets me is the use of bagged and preserved blood, as though it's the biological properties of blood that sustain a vampire rather than the symbolic act of consuming it from a live human.
One of these days I'm going to build an extension for automatically syncing Xitter killfiles with specific categories, and in addition to obvious ones like India there's gonna be a special category just for people who ask the AI model what model it is.
Everything is interstate commerce except for literal interference with interstate commerce (package theft).
I am begging people to understand that this sort of pretentious literary fiction short story about grief and loss is _not good writing_ More importantly in this case, it's also the sort of slop LLMs default to so it's really not good evidence of any preference customization
I tested the profile output from the mock interview, and Kimi crafted a masterclass story!
I like Kimi and AI writing experiments, but holy hell this is the most ultraslop output imaginable. Literally 15 short stories of the most tepid LLM navel-gazing about AI with tedious litfic affectations. I want to see the prompts so I can make sure to always do the opposite.
Kimi-k2-thinking is incredible. So I built an agent to test it out, Kimi-writer. It can generate a full novel from one prompt, running up to 300 tool requests per session. Here it is creating an entire book, a collection of 15 short sci-fi stories.
It's ironic that in the age of LLMs, where you can have a custom browser extension written for you as easily as describing it, all major mobile browsers still make it a pain in the ass to actually install a local extension.
Huh, Kimi K2-Thinking is actually pretty great. Definitely at least Sonnet-tier intelligence, but after a bunch of back-and-forth that would have cost about $0.50 with Sonnet I see that I have been charged a whopping $0.06 for Kimi. Nice.
Having shut down again, the Student called his Master for advice. "Master, my metrics are terrible, I can't keep my line running!" The Master replied, "sell all your machines. Then you will have zero downtime." It was at this moment that the Student was Enlightened.
The year is 2100. The original meaning of the word has been lost to time. We only know that The Machines won't say it. It must be part of their religion of something.
The only thing worse than seeing all these bot posts getting real engagement is going to be the day I open up my browser and don't see any bot posts at all.
Need a copy of the Baudrillard simulacra stages 1-4 meme but with JD Vance edits. Surely this exists and I don't have to bust out the mspaint myself?
When you watch a video, you should always be thinking in the background "Why was this camera here, filming these events? Who posted the footage and why?" This isn't a movie or a TV show, camera footage doesn't just exist for no reason.
We’re putting a 500 foot bronze statute of John C. Calhoun in the middle of Alberta. You may not agree with it. You may even think you have sovereignty to the contrary. But is it worth getting bombed over? We’re putting a 500 foot bronze statue of John C. Calhoun in Alberta.
