Apple's new "Crush" ad (let's call it "2024") is a visual & metaphorical bookend to the 1984 ad. 1984: Monochome, conformist, industrial world exploded by colourful, vibrant human 2024: Colourful, vibrant humanity is crushed by monochrome, conformist industrial press
Meet the new iPad Pro: the thinnest product we’ve ever created, the most advanced display we’ve ever produced, with the incredible power of the M4 chip. Just imagine all the things it’ll be used to create.
I didn't think it was possible to create a doco about space that I hate, but congrats @BBC with "Once Upon A Time In Space" with its relentless focus on politics, you've managed to do it.
Wait until you see how much the UK taxpayer is funding Hamas...
Incredible story. Somalians are defrauding Minnesota taxpayers to such an extent that “the largest funder of Al Shabaab is the Minnesota taxpayer”. Al Shabaab is the largest Islamist terrorist group in Somalia.
This is extraordinary from the Covid inquiry. No modelling “established” that 23,000 lives would be saved if lockdown had happened a week earlier - that was a notorious and debunked Ferguson claim…
The Green Party is like a Nigerian scam email, it's specifically designed so that anyone sensible is repelled by its stupidity and idiots self-select into the next stage.
At the Budget, the Green Party's message is clear: Cut Bills. Tax Billionaires.
The COVID-19 inquiry is a colossal waste of money that is rewriting history to cover the backs of the public health establishment. thecritic.co.uk/revisionist-lo…
The Covid inquiry has used modelling to claim Boris is responsible for 23,000 deaths. Here's how reliable Covid deaths modelling was. Red line is actual:
This is the single best explanation I have seen for why the UK has turned against Israel. Top British attorney Natasha Hausdorff exposes the uncomfortable truth that politicians are too afraid to admit: The British government has effectively joined the global jihad agenda.…
Ummm...
Absolutely bonkers story about Somalian immigrant communities in Minnesota over-diagnosing their own kids with autism so that they can funnel billions of Medicaid dollars back to terrorist cells in Somalia.
This is eye-wateringly awful. When a right-leaning government returns to power there needs to be a Royal Commission launched immediately into how to restore academia to where it was before the take-over.
King’s College London Has Ceased to Be a University dailysceptic.org/2025/11/19/kin…
Labour is driving this? Lul wut? Seriously lads, you REALLY don't want to go down THIS road.
Nigel Farage "must explain" comments he made "when he was a schoolboy". Are you fucking kidding me?
I'm fascinated by this "inactive wealth" thing. Because they doesn't understand money, the idea has become embedded on the Left that the wealthy "hoard" wealth a la Scrooge McDuck. Literally no wealthy person I know does this for the simple fact that inflation destroys wealth.…
"spending cuts" we did that for 14 years. In practise it just leads to capex being slashed and opex slowly rising. "less unions" we had more unions during the higher periods of growth though. 4% in the 70% vs 1% now. They aren't the problem. You need to tax inactive wealth too
The Waspi racket is one of the most shameless hustles in recent political history. We should recognise now that when this government comes close to getting something right (winter fuel, welfare, Waspi) this is merely the prelude to reversing course and getting it wrong.
Her state pension age wasn’t extended when she was “on the cusp” of retirement. She was 41 when the Pensions Act 1995 was passed. And she wasn’t “expecting to retire” in June 2014 on her 60th birthday. She already had retired from work in 2008. What does the state owe her? £0.00
"Net migration falling to zero would be a very bad thing if we achieved it by trading asset managers for Deliveroo drivers." My latest for @CityAM, on the Great British Brain Drain news.uk.cityam.com/story/2380093/…
A core pillar of modern American leftism is the belief that people have zero agency.
Telling people to "eat better and exercise" is cruel when industry engineers junk food to be addictive & we live in a fast food-ridden, un-walkable hellscape. Open free public diners / gyms in every zip code, then we can talk about personal responsibility currentaffairs.org/news/2017/11/a…
Disabled White British adults have lower unemployment rates than the following non-disabled ethnic groups in England & Wales: • Arab • Black African • Bangladeshi • Black Other • Pakistani • Irish Traveller • Black Caribbean Insane.
Extraordinary figure
The rise in unemployment to 5% is bad, but that excludes sickness benefit. The fuller figure - all out-of-work benefits - is now closer to 15%. frasernelson.com/data/economics/
