Indie game dev looking to get into the games industry.

So, with the #fallout TV show out, I decided to recreate a mechanic from one of my favorite games in #unity 6 in a week. It may not be perfect, but this is the result!

One of my current side projects that I’m working on is building a site for people who’re interested in getting started in game development! Current I have some learning resources up on the site, with more to come! Let me know if I missed any! #gamedev entrylevelgamejobs.com/resources

A little late for #screenshotsaturday but throwback to my most recent project #madewithunity #indiedev #gamedev

I took time off from working on my first commercial game to mess around with some VR development. I had a lot of fun with this archery mini-game and will try more projects like this in the future! #madewithunity #unity #indiegamedev #gamedev

We're thrilled to reveal that, together with @Fools_Theory, we're working on remaking The Witcher using Unreal Engine 5 (codename: Canis Majoris)! We want to do this right, so please be patient — it's gonna be a while until we can share more details. ⚔️ thewitcher.ly/WitcherRemake

The problem with video games is nobody knows how they're made

Neither can we! We once heard that "the skies are marked with numberless sparks, each a fire, and every one a sign" 😉 webbtelescope.org/news/first-ima…

I wanted to try out some of the newer features in Unreal Engine 5 and thought this would be a great way to try them out. This image is a small demo scene using Quixel Megascans, Epic Games Content, Nanite Meshes, and the Lumen Lighting system. The models are from a Udemy course.

I just finished up the @GameDevTV UE5 Blueprints course and ended up with a drone prototype game! As my first time using UE5, I’m excited to build more! #unrealengine5 #screenshotsaturday #indiegamedev #gamedev

I decided to take some extra game development courses and just finished this Tetris-style game. I ended up adding a game boy style shader on top for that retro feel! #madewithunity #unity #indiegamedev #gamedev

I often get messages from people wanting to get into the games industry, either generally or specifically as a UX Designer. So instead of answering each one individually - here's a letter for all of you! Feel free to pass on to whoever might need it!💃🏻✨ docs.google.com/document/d/1pm…

Ya know, when you step back and look at what has been achieved tech-wise in the gaming space, it’s truly impressive to consider. Games today, in general, are huge engineering and design accomplishments. I feel this gets lost often these days but it’s worth thinking about.

I just wanted to share a demo I had made based on the opening level from Prey (2016). This particular moment is from one of my favorite opening sequences, and I wanted to see if I could replicate this sequence in Unity. #madewithunity #unity #indiegamedev #gamedev
