Getting my teeth into #DeepLearning for #DigitalPathology this afternoon, building a general purpose tissue classifier using @Visiopharm implementN of #DeepLabV3 Genuinely impressed how little training is required to make it work on almost any tissue/stains I can throw at it!

Genuinely impressed how little training is required to make it work on almost any tissue/stains I can throw at it!

Today I built a background-removal tool using #tensorflow. I used Google's pre-trained #deeplabV3 model to detect the background and #opencv to remove the background using the pre-trained model and create two comparison windows. For 65 lines of code, beautiful first time result.
