Character controller reference implementation for Bounce is out on codeberg: codeberg.org/perplexdotgg/b… Robust, but with no frills and minimal opinions about your app or game. This example uses #threejs, though the character controller and physics library are renderer-agnostic.

Web Game Database I set up a site to track online game CCU - Its similar to SteamDB but works for web games. I always find myself researching what performs well on steam and figured we could use something similar for online web games. Turns out theres 50k CCU across them!

🚀 Follow @webgamedb for insights and metrics about web games. Just launched by @shatterspine, it is already very valuable for tracking how your web game compares with others and understanding the web game market. The website is worth a bookmark too! ⭐️

Started tracking Growden playercounts, sitting at a healthy 1800 CCU.

To all the web devs out there who have ideas of games but never coded any: you can with your current skills. It's fun, extremely rewarding and fulfilling, and you learn a lot. You can start with DOM-based games, then explore Pixi/Phaser for 2D, or Three.js for 3D. #threejs

This is huge. A Next.js template, @bunjavascript support, version-controlled editor data as JSON, a comfortable Unity-like workflow and native app, TS just works out of the box, and it's free. Let's make some noise for this fantastic milestone of Babylon.js, folks.
